The Senior Manager, Digital Product role is vital to accelerating our consumer digital experiences. This role is responsible for the strategic management of new and existing member digital products and experiences. Expect to interface closely in a matrixed environment, including cross-functional lines of business in India & US (UHC, Optum businesses, etc.) and teams (Technology, Operations, Design, Usability, etc.). Specifically, this role will be responsible for the creation and refinement of strategic and operational business requirements to facilitate the development of new capabilities, as well as identify and facilitate opportunities to improve our products and experience performance. This position will require overlap of hours with US time zone.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Storytelling and Vision Articulation: Clearly articulate the product vision and roadmaps, identifying synergies and connection points between business objectives and product delivery, as well as the value created
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders in the US and India to align consumer experience and business objectives.
- Requirements and Feature Definition: Drive requirements and feature definition for new capabilities within the journey.
- Iterative Integration: Articulate and execute an iterative approach to delivering integration for a business line.
- Influence and Decision Making: Influence direction setting, facilitate decision making, and resolve conflicts; use an awareness and understanding of the enterprise and its culture to partner with stakeholders, promote and support product vision and goals, and achieve consensus on strategies, requirements, and roadmaps
- Innovation and Feasibility: Challenge current thinking, balancing innovation with feasibility, usability, and scalability
- Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work with technical product managers, engineering, agile practitioners, and agile teams from initiation through execution
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks with product builds and integrations, proactively developing mitigation plans; assist in removing obstacles, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with stakeholders
- Technical Communication: Accurately translate technical terms and concepts for non-technical stakeholders; effectively represent technical challenges and opportunities to external and internal stakeholders; leverage insights to adjust timelines and resource allocation
- Product Advocacy: Understand and advocate for the journey product suite with technical, business, operations, financial, and executive stakeholders, as applicable
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with design, usability, engineering, architecture, consumer research, and analytics teams based in India and US
- Accountability and Performance Standards: Hold yourself accountable for meeting high-performance standards that drive key measurable results\
- KPI Definition and Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital products, iterating based on data-driven insights
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Initiate market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience as a digital product/program lead with proven track record of successfully delivering digital products or services that meet customer needs and business objectives
- 5+ years digital experience aligned with consumer facing product and experience delivery within Healthcare, Retail or Insurance industry
- 5+ years of proven experience as forward-thinking leader regarding member/customer preferences management platforms and/or customer relationship management models
- Experience and deep understanding of Agile methodology, team structure and product management best practices
- Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and dynamic environment; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
- Proficiency in MS Office, Aha, Rally, Figma, Adobe Analytics
- Proven impactful communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Proven pronounced strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated finesse in working through complex and difficult topics; facilitates resolutions and makes decisions
- Demonstrated relationship/consulting skills across geographies to work across LOBs and functions to recommend appropriate actions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently through each stage of the product lifecycle, building proficiency in developing and executing strategies
- Demonstrated ability to think on feet and adapt quickly
- Overall understanding of technologies used in the product.
