Position in this functions is responsible for providing direct supervision for all staff in the Radiology department. Manages all radiology operations, oversees PACS workflows and serves as a liaison between administrators, providers, and other departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervises Radiology operations and scheduling across all modalities (x-ray, mammo, dexa, ultrasound) as well as the Radiology File Room
- Monitors tech productivity and provides coaching and additional training if needed
- Performs Quality Control on images and directs staff when image quality falls below Radiologists’ standards
- Coordinates vendor equipment PM schedules and physicist annual inspections for all radiology equipment.
- Maintains compliance in all licensing, certification, and competencies for clinic and staff (MQSA, CDPH, ACR, and staff certifications/licenses)
- Evaluates radiological competencies and decisions according to Title 17
- Participates in budget planning with Sr. Administrator for all operational and capital expenses
- Prepares for and conducts daily departmental meetings
- Onboards new staff and provides in-serving training when needed
- Provides coverage for techs according to license
- Uses, protects, and discloses PHI only in accordance with HIPAA standards
- Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- CA Radiology License
- Current CRT, FLOURO and ARRT certification
- 3+ years Radiology experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of MQSA, CDPH and ACR standards and quality assurance protocols
- Familiarity with PACS and Radiology Information’s System(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support
- Experience with Konica Minolta/EXA PACS
- Experience with EPIC EMR
The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
