Government Programs Digital is part of the UHC Medicare & Retirement Sales team and is responsible for portal development for direct-to-consumer business. We work with Portal IT partners, agencies, and external vendors to support our online business and marketing strategies. The Digital Content Strategist position will work closely with digital team members such as, content authors, project management, marketing, business stakeholders, product management, and technical members of our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working with writing for a digital platform, and a robust understanding of marketing websites.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and write digital content for online enrollment tool, drug cost estimator, pharmacy and provider search tools
- Copywriting for highly regulated, digital marketing web properties
- Copy edit and proofread all content
- Work in an agile, rapid development environment
- Consult on agile Feature and User Story development to support implementation
- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical content and compliance issues
- Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
- Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years in digital marketing/digital experience for consumers
- 4+ years of professional experience in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in a compliance-driven organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a compliance-driven organization
- Experience with Agile Development methodology
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Understanding of SEO and multivariate testing
- Knowledge of Medicare business
- Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to confidently communicate with and influence without authority
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and processes

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
