As a UHO Broker Sales Executive, you will serve as the primary relationship manager with select UnitedHealthOne FMO agency distribution. This includes but is not fully limited to: producer contracting and certification, training/education, administration of submitted business, commission tracking, and sales support
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of sales strategy that is representative of your assigned “territory” – innovative thinking is instrumental in building out things such as: strategic alliances, growth-based proposals, existing or new relationships, and collaboration with other areas of the organization
- Monitor and leverage sales results, marketplace trends, and key performance indicators in discussions with select assigned “territory” to uncover new opportunities for growth or improved performance
- Achieve monthly assigned sales results that are in line with membership and financial growth of the organization
- Keep management and executive staff up to date on information, status of key growth initiatives, competitive/market-based intel, and be reliable to meet applicable deadlines
- Field-based travel is a core part of the role – regularly attend industry conferences, broker/agency events, and meet with agency leaders/principles to drive forward key sales initiatives
- Actively engage in the management and coaching of agency distribution and applicable agent performance when merited by the Sales Review Practice or Sales Disciplinary Action Committee teams
- Possess the ability to quickly identify and collaborate with others to resolve issues/problems that support both the long-term goals of the organization while meeting the immediate needs of the agency
- Provide feedback to necessary internal UHC staff as related to improving the processes in place as related to agency/broker and consumer experience – might include process improvements, product improvements, and or broker portal or member portal capabilities

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with health insurance related industry
- High level understanding of the healthcare market, specifically the individual or Specialty/Ancillary market
- Proven ability to analyze complex market opportunities and develop creative solutions to a wide variety of unique market problems
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing and evolving environment
- Proven accountable and results oriented as well as being open to improvement and professional development over time
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to build credibility and gain the respect and confidence of clients and internal partners
- Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time based on business needs (seasonal)
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience working across different business segments of UHC

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
