UHC Technology is in search of a strategic and results-oriented Director of Software Engineering to spearhead its marketing technology initiatives. In this capacity, the individual will lead the marketing transformation efforts, as well as the development and implementation of the UHC MarTech roadmap. The Director of Software Engineering will collaborate closely with MarTech product leaders, UHC marketing leaders, and various cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, consumer-centric solutions that enhance marketing capabilities across UHC.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the Adobe Experience Platform and Analytics implementation for UHC business, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery
- Lead the delivery of audience configurations via RTCDP and customer journeys through AJO across various lines of business
- Ensure feasibility of use cases from a technology perspective, providing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Provide thought leadership to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating solution capabilities and industry best practices
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure continuous growth and improvement

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working MarTech platforms
- 5+ years of management experience leading diverse teams
- 2+ years of experience working with Adobe Journey Analytics and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Experience leading enterprise platform implementation projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field. Masters preferred
- Solid understanding of digital marketing execution processes, audience segmentation methods, industry best practices, communication legal compliance, and downstream campaign analysis
- Familiarity with a variety of marketing automation platforms and marketing cloud solutions a plus (Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Marketo or similar)
- Comfortable working with all levels of an organization and capable of communicating as effectively with technical staff as with business and management
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
