Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and Optimize SQL Queries: Write and performance-tune complex SQL queries using T-SQL, PL/SQL, SnowSQL to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation
- CI/CD Implementation: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Snowflake, automating deployment processes to enhance development workflows
- SSIS Package Management: Design, develop, and maintain SSIS/DTSX packages
- Cloud Solution Architecture: Architect and implement scalable, cloud-based solutions on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP to improve operational efficiency and support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Data Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust data solutions that meet reporting and data extraction requirements
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, manage workloads, and set clear expectations with stakeholders based on detailed requirement analysis
- Solution Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of data solutions, providing actionable feedback to stakeholders to ensure quality and performance
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- SQL Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL (T-SQL PL/SQL, SnowSQL), with experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ETL tools (SSIS, Python, Azure Data Factory)
- CI/CD and DevOps Knowledge: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
- Requirements Translation: Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable, resilient technical solutions
- Independent Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Code Maintenance and Support: Experience in maintaining existing codebases and providing developer support for ongoing solutions
- Data Modeling: Familiarity with data modeling concepts and practices
- Performance Tuning: Practical knowledge of performance tuning, database schemas, and SQL Server security
- Source Control: Proficiency with Git and other source control systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
- Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel Cubes, and Power Query
- Cloud Migrations and Optimization: Experience in large-scale cloud migrations and optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability
