Positions in this function are responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality. Depending on the specific role and business line, example responsibilities in this function could include creating specifications to bring data into a common structure, creating product specifications and models, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across the company. Roles in this function could partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization. Other roles involved could include producing and managing the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients. Team members will typically use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data. Positions in this function work on predominately descriptive and regression-based analytics and tend to leverage subject matter expert views in the design of their analytics and algorithms. This function is not intended for employees performing the following work: production of standard or self-service operational reporting, casual inference led (healthcare analytics) or data pattern recognition (data science) analysis; and/or image or unstructured data analysis using sophisticated theoretical frameworks. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform systems maintenance (Oracle RDMBS, Oracle Application Server, WebLogic, Oracle OAM) and Systems Administration
- Systems Analysis and Performance Tuning (Oracle Database 12c/19c, WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, JVM Tuning, Application SQL and PL/SQL code tuning, etc.)
- Perform Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) apps DBA duties as assigned including code migrations, patching, cloning, backup, and recovery
- Perform daily system health checks and monthly performance metrics to publish reports
- Installation / upgrades (for database and EBS, etc.)
- Monitoring / trouble shooting / performance tuning
- Monitoring setup using Oracle Enterprise Manger (OEM)
- Creation and implementation of fully functional database clusters, ability to maintain multiple development, QA, and production environments with experience in performance tuning
- Review existing configurations and installations and provide design decisions for improvements to platform environments
- Assist in planning and performing Oracle EBS and database upgrades and migrations
- Perform production level support and be part of the on-call rotation
- Work with Oracle vendor and its respected support channels when required
- Work with application teams and developers to design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications
- Works with less structured, more complex issues
- Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate
- Experience in Oracle ERP + Oracle DBA
- Oracle/ ERP DBA Job Description:
- Experienced Oracle DBA, with extensive knowledge on architecture, operational support, and database installations ranging from (R11 and R23c) including Data Guard, Physical standby, RAC, Grid, and standby replication
- Experience of handling databases on Exadata appliances
- Experience with critical database support of production database environments
- Experience in db performance and analysis of complex queries tuning
- Experience in designing, implementing, and verification of disaster recovery (DR) strategies with and without data-guard broker
- Development of scripts for Unix/ Linux environments in patching, general maintenance, auto tuning etc.
- Establishing and documenting database architectural guidelines, establishing operational best practices
- Capacity analysis of Oracle Databases and finding growth statistics
- Design and maintain the backup & recovery solutions on both disk and tape
- Experience in migrating databases from on-prem to cloud
- Experience with database restores/ refreshes with RMAN and Data pump
- Manage and Administer Oracle EBS applications and databases. Perform routine monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of EBS environments to ensure optimal performance
- Extensive experience in maintaining EBS certificate renewals, code deployments
- Basic to intermediate experience on MySQL 5.x to 8.x database administration
