Systems Management Consultant – Email security , O365

Job Description:

• Experience in email architecture, email security, email protocols (SMTP, POP IMAP), encryption, authentication and filtering technics.
• Experience with administering Microsoft Exchange, both on-prem and Exchange Online
• Able to configure and manage email security tools and solutions, such as firewalls, anti-spam, anti-virus, malware protection, and email gateways
• Ability to understand, propose and implement creative solutions to eliminate malicious (e.g., phishing) and unwanted email (e.g., spam, “graymail”)
• Knowledge and experience in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with Microsoft Exchange Online, hybrid Exchange environments, Client connectivity (On-prem and cloud), related Exchange components, technologies, and service related to M365 suite of products.
• Understanding and Implementing of DKIM, DMARC, SPF and email filtering services
• Experience with migration of Exchange customers to Office 365, end-to-end support & troubleshooting experience of Exchange Online and Office 365 Hybrid solutions.
• Provide direct support to end-users ranging from Tier 1-3 type issues, with command of general workstation support functions related to Outlook and email as service.

• Expertise in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems.

• Experience with ITIL methodologies and using ServiceNow for incident management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience working with email security technology.
• Understanding of email security with Exchange Online
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience collaborating with diverse technology teams to achieve business results

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience with Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection
• Experience with RESTful APIs and PowerShell Scripting
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Health care industry experience
