The Sr Manager of Data Analytics will be responsible for managing the EIP Program. They will be responsible for managing all program level work, including partnering with COE leadership to track financials, mitigate risks and manage issues, keep leaders abreast of overall progress, manage the scope, and setup tracking mechanisms for all activities. They will also be working directly with the Manager of Data Analytics to monitor adherence to the delivery schedule and remove barriers for the team to ensure on time delivery. They will also be responsible for developing presentations for updating Senior Leaders and customers of delivery status and program updates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration, and effort required for successful execution (e. g., resource demand planning)
- Manage/ensure proper release/deployment/functionality (e.g., post-implementation testing, auditing, reporting)
- Develop/implement contingency and recovery plans when deliverables/milestones are missed
- Manage/coordinate communications among all applicable stakeholders (e.g., approval processes, governance committees)
- Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g., labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources (e.g., resource managers, project managers, application planners, system architects)
- Manage vendor relationships and/or obtain required contract approvals, as needed
- Lead the development of scope at each partnership, in consultation with applicable stakeholders
- Monitor scope requirements, identifying and resolving gaps and issues
- Ensure that resources are acquired to meet delivery requirements, escalating for assistance where gaps exist
- Provide program direction and performance feedback to the team or their leadership throughout, as appropriate
- Develop/contribute to program budgets and forecasts, obtaining approvals from applicable stakeholders (e.g., cost/benefit analysis, capital planning, staffing impact analysis/assessment)
- Ensure adherence to established risk management approaches to identify, analyze and mitigate program risks/issues, as applicable
- Develop, communicate, and implement program/risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
- Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with applicable stakeholders (e.g., team members, team leads, internal customers, functional SMEs, business partners, leadership)
- Establish/implement plans for ongoing program documentation storage

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience (preferably in Analytics)
- 3+ years of experience using Agile methodologies
- 3+ years of experience utilizing agile tools (e.g. Jira, Swift Kanban, Rally, etc.) to manage work
- 3+ years of program management experience
- 3+ years of experience creating senior leadership level reporting and/or status summaries
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Health system or provider experience
- Experience using collaboration and diplomacy to work as part of a matrixed, inter-disciplinary team
- Experience with content creation, status updating, and ability to define key takeaways for stakeholders
- Proven solid competence in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven solid executive presence and client-facing skills; customer-oriented
- Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Proven self-motivated; able to manage several projects at once
- Proven skilled at engaging decision-makers and stakeholders by presenting compelling real-time reports
The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
