The Director of Strategic Partnerships – Optum Financial, Provider Solutions will play critical role in managing and growing relationships with Strategic Partners to deepen relationships and increase service offerings. This position requires the ability to build relationships internal and external, identify joint value creation opportunities and execute on those opportunities through cross functional collaboration.
This role will serve as a single point of contact for existing and prospective partner organizations, representing the provider product suite which includes commercial and patient lending, core banking services, and account receivable/account payable solutions. Initial focus will be on the DSO market but will expand to include other specialty areas.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with existing strategic partners to deepen relationships, introduce new products and expand service offerings
- Build and develop new partnership relationships for Provider Solution products
- Identify and execute on value creation opportunities in collaboration with partner organization
- Support requisite contracting efforts with strategic partners
- Be a trusted advisor to Optum Financial and C-Suite internally and externally for Provider financial solutions
- Communicate effectively with C-level executives and translate their needs into an account plan with business and product requirements
- Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting of Client ROI and lead regular business reviews with various stakeholder groups (Growth, Implementations, Product, IT, Finance, Legal) throughout the year
- Coordinate the Operations team to deliver consistent service and increase NPS score
- Continuously review market and competitive landscape, identifying opportunities and strategies that will position Optum Financial as the market leader in the Provider space
- Solid focus on execution and deliverables across the entire enterprise & life cycle after a contract is executed
- Attend conferences and Client face to face C-level executive meetings, as required
- Develop ongoing client reference process to assist sales

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years industry experience within healthcare / FinTech industry
- 5+ years of experience influencing C-level executives and across multiple teams / departments to achieve business growth or profitability goals
- 3+ years in strategy consulting or other client facing strategy role
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with healthcare and Fintech industries
- Proven track record of working with strategic healthcare provider clients, understanding their needs and translating into viable solutions
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
