Clinical Administrative Coordinators sits within Health Information Management (HIM) department.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Our office is located at 440 Hopkinsville Street, Greenville, KY 42345.
Primary Responsibilities:
- This position supports the Chart Analysis process for Owensboro Health; supporting providers, clinics, Ancillary departments and the Medical Staff Office by monitoring incomplete medical records.
- This analysis ensures that charts are complete and accurate, and any documentation deficiencies are properly assigned and reported upon.
- Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, detail orientated, and ability to work in a team environment.

- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR Older
- 2+ years of Customer Service experience
- Basic experience with Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work full time onsite at 440 Hopkinsville Street, Greenville, KY 42345
- Ability to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
- Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
- Experience working with Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
- Experience working in a hospital, physician’s office or medical clinic setting
- A clerical or administrative support background
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes
- Experience working in a call center
- RHIT or RHIA certification
