We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst with a solid background in US healthcare systems, end-to-end medical/non-medical claims processing, and proficiency in Rally and Visio tools to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in analyzing business processes, identifying system requirements, and implementing technology solutions within the healthcare industry. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, claims processing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document business processes and requirements specific to the US healthcare industry and claims processing
  • Develop and maintain system specifications and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize system enhancements
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve healthcare business processes and claims management
  • Work closely with IT teams to design, develop, and implement system solutions
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HITECH
  • Perform system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Provide training and support to end-users
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Prepare and present reports on system performance and project status
  • Utilize Rally for Agile project management and tracking
  • Create process flow diagrams and documentation using Visio
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst or in a similar role within the US healthcare industry
  • Experience with healthcare information systems (e.g., EHR, EMR) and regulatory compliance
  • Solid understanding of healthcare business processes, claims processing, and system analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software, including Rally and Visio
  • Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems
