Marketing Communication Specialist – Remote in Texas

This independent contributor position reports to the Director, Growth Strategies and Design Projects. The Specialist I, Marketing Project Specialist is responsible for “owning” assigned marketing, advertising and branding projects from start to finish, including discussions with the requestor for clarification if needed, coordinating with the design on proof expectations, reviewing/editing prior to sharing with requestor, collaborating with requestor until final is approved, trafficking/executing/deploying and monitoring the project completion ensuring deliverables and timelines are met. This position partners with graphic designers and translators to deliver requests to both internal and external customers. In addition to being a team player, this role requires project and time management skills, solid problem-solving skills, basic understanding of expected ROI and budget, vendor communication, tracking deliverables and ROI.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Detailed understanding of marketing/advertising/branding campaigns submitted through Workfront, the GSDT intake work order platform. Ensure understanding of request, communicating with assigned designer and confirming the due dates can be met, communicating with requestor if adjustments need to be made in timing
- Collaborate with team members on QC/QA/proofing process for all requests
- Manage your own project queue and workflow with accurate turn around times to ensure all campaigns meet the deadlines
- Assist with maintaining Workfront for all brands including ad placement details, direct mail drops including date of drop and picture of piece, response rates, cost, ROI and other advertising requests (WM, Optum, USMD, HCAT, WNI, WNFI)
- Support managing and assigning requests for template and mid-level work orders. Ensure understanding of full scope and details to ensure designer understands the requirements and is able to meet the deadline requested
- Coordinate requests for direct mail lists; finalize and send database with final artwork design to printer for all mailing requests
- Submit cost estimate requests through NOOSH for customer approval prior to finalizing project
- Submit materials through compliance approval process through Workfront
- Track and manage deployment of materials assigned to the media buy campaigns to ensure deadlines are met
- Report and manage creation of monthly reports as needed

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of project coordination/project management experience
- General knowledge of marketing and advertising materials, non-design development and execution process
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with tight deadlines while paying close attention to the details of all the deliverables
- Proven excellent interpersonal skills, high energy and enthusiasm, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, high performance and action-oriented team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of Adobe Workfront, SalesForce and NOOSH
