As senior product analyst, you will be responsible for doing analysis and working on solutions for the = our digital product portfolio. You will do work that supports the vision, roadmap, and execution of our digital products, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our customers. This role requires solid analytical skills, a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies. You will compile, prepare, analyze and interpret data across multiple sources to assist in identifying opportunities to improve websites and the customer experience, plus drive digital self-service efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis and interpretation: Conduct complex data analyses to support business initiatives and inform decision-making processes. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics. Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Consumer insights: Analyze consumer behavior and preferences to identify opportunities for improving products and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven insights that support consumer-centric strategies. Design and execute consumer surveys and research projects to gather additional data insights
  • Data management and quality: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular data validation and quality checks. Work with data engineers to improve data collection processes and data infrastructure. Develop and implement data management best practices to enhance data quality and accessibility
  • Product strategic analysis for our digital product portfolio, aligning it with overall business goals and market opportunities
  • Roadmap planning: Support building and executing the product roadmap, developing requirements for features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful delivery of product initiatives
  • Product development: Support the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch optimization
  • Performance monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our digital products, iterating based on data-driven insights

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, preferably within a consumer-focused or digital product environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, 
  • Proficiency with Power BI 
  • Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights
  • Proven solid communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to be detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity and to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven solid teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital product management
  • Python, R, or SAS experience
  • Proven track record of supporting management or launch of digital products or services, preferably in a B2B or B2C environment
  • Proven solid strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
