Primary Responsibilities:

• Support and develop strategies that maximize operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness for the Enterprise
• Understand and drive new customer requirements
• Drive supplier consolidation and leverage spend across the enterprise
• Negotiate terms and conditions and drive to contract execution
• Manage contract documents
• Utilize contract management systems
• Build trust with internal customers as the procurement expert; anticipate internal business partner needs and help drive management and contract activities in a timely manner
• Participate on projects and system or tool development initiatives to enhance processes
• Review, author, redline, and negotiate vendor contracts, including Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments, Change Orders, and
• Procure to Pay transactions in cooperation with legal, and internal stakeholders
• Develop solid and collaborative working partnerships with key internal stakeholders including business partners and support functions (legal, finance and risk)
• Work in partnership with internal business customers and other stakeholders in establishing optimum rates, service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and other legal and business terms. Develop and lead negotiation strategies toward achieving those optimal terms
• Ensure all procurement activities support and are aligned with internal strategy team
• Contribute to the annual cost savings targeted goals
• Other duties as assigned
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in a Sourcing and Procurement role
• Experience in supplier rationalization and contract provision remediation
• Experience with contract management systems
• Solid communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Contract management, drafting, development, redlining, and negotiation experience
• Proven influencing skills
• Understanding of business and financial goals
• Solid, proven category, relationship management or risk experience

Preferred Qualification:

• Knowledge of the healthcare industry
