Senior Software Engineering Lead – Java or Python, Cloud, AIML

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and deployment of a cloud-based platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to the technical design and development of the platform, making informed decisions on technology selection, infrastructure, and integration points
- Develop and maintain coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that the team follows coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and UI/UX designers, to ensure seamless integration and an excellent user experience
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, AI/ML frameworks, and best practices, and share insights and knowledge with the team
- Monitor and optimize the platform’s performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization and responsiveness
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the platform
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience as a Technical developer or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex cloud-based projects
- Solid technical expertise in cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and experience with serverless architecture, microservices, and containerization
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and frameworks, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in cloud-based environments
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with distributed computing frameworks
- Proven solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative technical solutions
- Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and AI/ML
