This person will analyze training needs, develop and coordinate training programs, and deliver training to employees. They will coordinate, train and support new providers and staff that integrate with the practice.  Responsibilities will include training Epic in addition to workflow for Providers, Nursing, patient services, patient accounts, HIM, and communications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
  • Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Translates concepts into practice
  • Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
  • Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience
  • Maintains Epic Training credentials as outlined by Optum in a myriad of Epic applications (Cadence, Ambulatory nurse and provider, Bones, Kaleidoscope, Beaker, Radiant, Cheers, Beacon, Resolute)
  • Responsible for assessing, creating and providing training on clinical applications for providers and non-providers including but not limited to electronic health record and associated systems
  • Develop and execute training for new users, upgrades and enhancements to Clinical systems and applications
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of practice operations, clinical and non-clinical workflows, processes and procedures
  • Collaborates with clinical applications staff and Optum Principal Trainers in the development of training resources and documentation
  • Utilizes a variety of training methodologies and delivery mechanisms to support initiatives across the practice
  • Participates in continuing education opportunities offered by vendors and other internal and external resources
  • Participates in system upgrade testing as needed
  • Assist Clinical applications and staff with Support/troubleshooting via ticketing system
  • Provider and staff EHR remediation as needed/requested
  • Performs other tasks as required for the effective and efficient functioning of the Practice when directed to do so by Supervisory and Managerial personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
  • 2+ years of experience training EHR
  • Ability to travel frequently

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Crystal Run or CareMount Medical office experience 
  • 1+ years of management experience 
  • LPN/RN role utilizing an EHR and precepting training 
  • Experience with Epic

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
