Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-performance user interfaces using React
  • Implement server-side logic using Java and Java Spring Boot frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in both Java and JavaScript
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to UI development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or 3+ years of equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in UI development using React, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and high-performance user interfaces
  • 3+ years of experience with Redux, GraphQL, and RESTful API design
  • 3+ years of experience with Redis or other caching technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Java fundamentals and best practices
  • Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and its ecosystem
  • Familiarity with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and RDS (good to have)
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven communication and team collaboration skills

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
