Data Engineering Consultant – Dbt, SQL, Snowflake

Primary Responsibilities:
- Stake holder management: This position requires expertise in working with external 3rd party vendors in requirement gathering, development, delivery management and defect resolution
- Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends and patterns
- Documentation and Reporting: Document processes and create reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Project Management: Be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability: Be able to adapt to new tools and technologies as needed
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and consistency across all data sources and reports
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management and analysis
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst or in a similar role with 6+ years of experience in Data analysis using DBT, SQL, Snowflake and BI tools
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of DBT, Snowflake, SQL, Tableau/ Power BI
- Experience with DBT for building data marts and views
- Proficiency in Snowflake for data wrangling and management
- Solid skills in developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Solid analytical expertise: Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. This includes:
- Data Wrangling and Management: Proven ability to utilize Snowflake to wrangle and manage data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Data Modeling: Proven ability to use DBT to build and maintain data marts and views, optimizing data structures for analysis
- Dashboard and BI Tool Development: Proven ability to develop and maintain dashboards and reports using various BI tools to provide actionable insights
- Data Wrangling and Management: Proven ability to utilize Snowflake to wrangle and manage data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Communication Skills: Proven solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
