As an Associate Director in General Management within the healthcare industry, you would be responsible for overseeing and directing the operations, strategy, and performance of a department or division, while also leading and developing teams to achieve organizational goals. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plans and oversees strategic, operational, and administrative programs, projects, and/or services of broad significance to the organization within the Healthcare Domain
  • Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement
  • Provides strategic advice and recommendations to leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or modified operating policies, practices, and procedures within the specified functional area of focus
  • Analyses, designs, documents, and implements internal reporting systems and procedures
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship of 400+ employees
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Manage budgets, resources, and projects effectively
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in project management
  • Experience in handling teams with 400+ members
  • Proven experience in general management, healthcare operations, or a related field
  • Knowledge in process improvement and quality related tools
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems
  • Good understanding of the latest technological developments such as RPA etc.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry, regulations, and best practices
  • Expertise in the US healthcare domain
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating process, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to knack of problem solving and number crunching
  • Proven good track record in negotiating with stakeholders
  • Proven solid conflict resolution skills to address and settle conflicts fairly and diplomatically with clients or within teams
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
  • Proven solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
  • Proven advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in the area of expertise
