Business Systems Analyst – Remote

Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes business needs, documents requirements and translates needs into functional, nonfunctional and/or technical specifications
- Delivers requirements, performs analysis, and evaluates downstream business, systems, process, and/or organizational impacts
- Owns all type of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), testing processes and activities including defect identification and resolution
- Analyzes charts and/or diagrams of the problem to be programmed and defines system requirements in terms of system capabilities
- Develops or assists in the development of work plans, time schedules, and project task estimates
- Checks, validates and verifies business and technical requirements in order to achieve desired end-results for customers
- Identifies risks and issues, and seeks approval with leadership on complex matters
- Support with HEDIS Submission deliverables
- Effectively work with both internal and external clients
- Effectively report up daily progress on assigned deliverables in a timely manner
- Clearly communicate ideas and solutions with both Business and Technical Teams
- Analyze and document process and data flow
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in writing and developing requirements and performing system analysis; includes drafting of both business and functional requirements
- 3+ years of experience of major software systems implementation experience
- Proven solid knowledge of creating Traceability Matrix, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Documents and Test Cases
- Proven solid knowledge with SQL and writing queries, including presenting findings
- Proven solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in NCQA/CMS HEDIS requirements
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Application development experience
- Proven knowledge of Health Care Industry and related business functions

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
