In this leadership role, you’ll use your solid background in provider services to lead teams with the goal of ensuring quality of interactions and performance of providers in our networks. Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee end-to-end performance of provider network servicing and performance
  • Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems 
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Drive the design and implementation of programs that build/nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers and practice managers
  • Ensure implementation of training and education programs for external providers 
  • Identify gaps in network composition and services to assist network contracting and development teams

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in health care setting
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of Medicare benefits and regulations
  • Solid knowledge of primary care contracting
  • Proficiency in financial analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
  • Understanding of population health with focus on HEDIS metrics
  • Proven exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in IPA/MSO setting
  • Experience establishing solid physician relationships
  • Marketing and membership growth experience working in a culturally niche market

  

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
