Senior UI Engineer

- Collaborate closely with the Product and UX design teams to lead the architecture, design and implementation of UI/UX designs
- Act as a SME within the UI space, proficient in technologies such as Typescript, React & HTML
- Develop prototypes to illustrate UI concepts
- Operate as a key member of an Agile Full Stack engineering team
- Conduct code reviews providing constructive feedback
- Guide and mentor the UI Engineers in the team when required
- Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
- Continuously evaluate and improve the quality, performance, usability, accessibility and security of our products

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field OR equivalent experience
- Software product development experience working on commercially available software products
- Practical experience of delivering high quality production software using React & Typescript/Javascript running on NodeJS
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and front end frameworks preferably React
- Familiarity with UI testing frameworks like Jest and test-driven development methodologies
- Working knowledge on public clouds like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and developing applications on Linux environments
- Proven track record of acting as an advocate for driving new technology across the organization via the creation of communities and publishing components for reuse across the organization
- Experience of operating in a quickly changing environment and driving technological innovation to meet business requirements
- Experience in using modern software engineering and product development processes including Agile / Scrum, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, DevOps etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Adobe XD or Figma
- Familiarity with version control systems such as git
- Practical experience of developing solutions hosted within one of the major cloud providers (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud)
- Experience in lead/senior software engineer role
- Experience using front-end test strategies and framework
- Experience with RESTful API’s and interacting front-end components with backend services
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture
- Experience in the healthcare industry
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture
Soft Skills:
- Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills
- Display a strong desire to achieve and attain high levels of both internal and external customer satisfaction
