Account Management Associates play an integral role in our goal of “making the health system work better for everyone” by serving as the first point of contact for health care executives.
Account Management Associates partner with senior service delivery leaders to deliver 5-star service to current clients so that we maintain long-term partnerships.
Teamwork is central to our success, and as a result, Associates are positioned to develop working relationships with colleagues across other divisions within Advisory Board, including Product Delivery, Marketing, Operations and Research. This allows Associates to grow health care knowledge and professional skillsets while getting exposure to potential future career opportunities. Associates can also participate in the Early Careers Initiative (ECI), a program that helps early careerists SPARK growth in a set of well-rounded transferable skills, BUILD connections and relationships across the business, and ACCELERATE development and business impact through hands-on, meaningful work
This position is part of the Advisory Board, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. Advisory Board is based in Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate exceptional client interactions and meetings in support of senior client service leaders
- Serve as the first point of contact for client requests and respond to inquiries in timely and efficient manner. Examples of requests include: scheduling and setting up client trainings on resources available through portfolio, providing access to research publications and website resources, and facilitating introductions to research staff
- Produce detailed reports analyzing client utilization of products and services
- Manage client information in Salesforce

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience in business development or a related field
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:30 AM – 5:30PM EST from Monday – Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities; demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks and activities efficiently and according to importance
- Proven goal-orientated – takes initiative, shows individual accomplishment, results driven, proven ability to exceed expectations, and has solid critical-thinking skills
- Proven solid communication skills – ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and compellingly to busy health care executives (verbally and in writing)

The salary range for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
