We are looking for a talented and motivated Cloud Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of cloud architecture solutions using AWS services
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java-based applications
• Support the automation of cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Monitor system performance and assist in identifying issues to optimize the cloud environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and develop solutions
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPCs, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes/ECS/EKS
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kafka streaming
• Experience with serverless computing frameworks (eg, AWS Lambda)
• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Java Spring Boot and React
• Knowledge of database technologies including NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs
