WellMed is redefining how consumers interface with us digitally. We are looking for an experienced digital leader with proven results and a passion for innovation. In this role you will play a central role in leading enterprise-level, web-centric initiatives, providing digital recommendations and oversight, with an eye on both patient growth and retention. The individual will work closely with enterprise and local leadership to set content and social media objectives and optimize for growth. This role will lead a team of marketers to bring to market new ideas to optimize user engagement and task completion, improve social growth, and enhance digital experiences.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy: Oversee management of all digital content across Well Med’s digital properties. Including new page layouts, content refreshes, and organic optimization of content across the web. Own a full year running editorial content calendar proactively communicating roadmap priorities to stakeholders and leaders
- Content Development: Lead multimedia content web content development workstreams in partnership with external agency partners, Optum Care Delivery leadership and content writers
- Content Workflows: Manage content development workflows on Monday.com. Coordinating with external comms team and marketing teams within OptumCare Delivery
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement Social Media strategy across multiple social platforms. Focus on organic social media growth and collaboration with paid digital strategy driving traffic to WellMed digital properties. Ensure best practices are being used and strategy aligns with business goals and objectives
- Social Media Trend forecasting: Perform content research on trending health topics ensure social and web content strategies are relevant and engaging
- Analysis and insights: Monitor and analyze website data, social media engagement, growth goals and other digital metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and adjust as needed
- Vendor management: Collaborate with vendor agencies and partners to develop and execute paid social campaigns and produce website content
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with other OptumCare delivery regional and national marketing departments to integrate digital marketing strategies across the enterprise and ensure a consistent and integrated digital marketing experience. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with legal and compliance
- Innovation and Enhancement: Continuously explore new methodologies and technologies to enhance WellMed digital capabilities

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience managing a healthcare brand organic social media strategy
- 5+ years of experience creating and managing content editorial calendars
- Experience creating and managing content editorial calendars
- Proven track record of growing a brands social media presence across multiple social platforms including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
- Analytics of website and social media programs and the ability to translate and communicate the data and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams such as aiding in the process of determining appropriate marketing investment levels
- Proven track record of displaying ownership, urgency, and sound decision-making skills
- Robust competency in managing social media health metrics and growing site traffic performance including use of social media platform report suites
- Ability to manage external agency partners in collaboration of developing content and social strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understands enterprise level and OptumHealth line of business strategies
- Experience marketing to Medicare audience, creating campaigns to key growth periods e.g., AEP, SEP, OEP
- Experience in healthcare insurance industry in provider or payor space
- Analytics tools experience; Adobe, Sprinklr
- Balanced knowledge of social media technology and digital consumer trends and behavior
- Proven to be a team player, advocating, and exemplifying a cooperative approach to solving problems
- Proven to work well under pressure, thrives in a multi-faceted, complex work environment
- Proven pronounced strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
