We are seeking a dynamic individual for a Hybrid Accounting and Finance Role responsible for the E&I Level Funded Product. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an accounting background to gain valuable finance experience and leverage both disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations
• Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of financial experience, preferably in Healthcare
• SmartView and/or General Ledger experience
• Solid proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, sumif, etc.)
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across a matrix environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Process improvement experience
• Proven ability to generate innovative approaches and solutions to business opportunities
• Proven ability to build solid relationships at all levels of the organization

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
