Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducting an analysis of requirements and tweaking software as needed
  
• Releasing software updates
  
• Work with different teams to design, develop and test software systems and applications
  
• Document the development process and create manuals for future maintenance and updates
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Skillset – Mainframes technology which involves good working knowledge of COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
• Proven analytical abilities and problem-solving capabilities and should be able to debug the code to do the analysis
• Proven good technical skills along with good working knowledge of SQL for the extraction of data and updates of database records
• Proven ability to work in a proactive manner and should be able to drive War room meetings and bring the issues to closure, analysis of any JCL/code issues and possible solution to fix them
• Proven ability to actively participate the deployment planning activities and drive the deployment activities
• Proven ability to work with project teams before the deployment to understand the scope of the projects to have a better understanding of the changes going live
• Proven good in handling issues
