The Enterprise Resource Supply Enablement Leader is responsible for driving workforce solutions across Optum Lines of Business. By partnering with LOBs, Workforce Planning, and key partners such as Enterprise Sourcing and Procurement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to enhance vendor relationships and execute BPO strategies focused on enterprise effectiveness and efficiency
  • Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise capacity resourcing enablement processes
  • Collaborate with LOB and Workforce Planning partners to develop and drive optimal resource plans
  • Understand resource processes and seek to develop forward strategies to optimize workforce supply levers
  • Provide strategic input to stakeholders (e.g., sales; shared business partners; pre-service vendors; facilities) to drive effective business plan and strategy development
    • Drive operational transformation and consolidation related to external resource utilization and management processes

    • Lead enterprise discussions on organizational roles and responsibilities related to resource lever enablement

    • Design and develop resource supply lever models to enhance transparency and enable holistic Enterprise Workforce Planning

  • Optimize sourcing and vendor strategies in collaboration with business partners

  • Manage Remote Mail Operations functions across Optum Operating units

  • Analyze operational performance based on targeted financial metrics, quality indicators, and performance guarantees and/or incentives

    • Redesign processes and routines to support new role responsibilities and communicate the vision to internal partners

    • Create, maintain, and monitor metrics, reporting, and dashboards to communicate performance against resourcing strategies

    • Establish action plans and accountabilities to ensure alignment with agreed-upon plans

    • Ensure technology and reporting are in place to track and monitor enablement status and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Provide guidance and expertise to internal and external partners to ensure effective program and strategy implementation and maintenance
  • Communicate contractual requirements to internal and external partners to ensure effective problem solution and strategy implementation
  • Analyze RFP/contract language and incorporate requirements into project plans
  • Establish and implement internal and/or external service level agreements to monitor and measure program performance (e.g., turnaround time; quality; effectiveness)
  • Work with partners (e.g., claims, call center) to ensure accurate reports are produced to validate program performance
  • Provide financial and operational expertise to analyze and measure resource enablement performance
  • Ensure financial return on resource lever investment

The salary range for this role is $191,800 to $364,800 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
