We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our Clinical Care Enablement team, focusing on the development and enhancement of CareSight & CCE applications. This role is pivotal in creating intuitive and engaging user experiences that support our healthcare solutions. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and back-end engineers, to deliver high-quality, user-centric web applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • User Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs
    • Develop user personas, scenarios, and journey maps to inform design decisions
  • Design Development:
    • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma)
    • Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and engagement
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with front-end developers (React/Angular) and back-end teams (.NET stack) to ensure seamless integration of designs with technical implementations
    • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other designers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
  • Usability Testing & Iteration:
    • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and gather feedback
    • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results to continuously improve the user experience
  • Design Systems & Standards:
    • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and best practices to ensure consistency across all applications within the Clinical Care Enablement group (e.g., WD, ECBT)
    • Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and are responsive across various devices and platforms
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications
    • Communicate design progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team
    • Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to the overall UX strategy of the organization
  • Basic, structured, standard approach to work

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, preferably within web application development
    • Proven track record of designing user-centric interfaces for complex applications
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, or similar
    • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and how designs are implemented in code 
  • Design Skills:
    • Solid portfolio showcasing user experience design projects, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
    • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and color theory
    • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles
  • Soft Skills:
    • Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Proven solid problem-solving abilities and a user-first mindset
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or with clinical applications
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and usability best practices
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (React/Angular) and the .NET stack
