Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports the product management of key technologies that support many Security Enterprise products
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and market needs
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and inform product direction
Roadmap Planning:
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, ensuring it reflects both short-term priorities and long-term goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive product development and delivery
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines
Requirements Gathering:
- Gather detailed requirements from users, customers, stakeholders, and market research
- Translate these requirements into clear specifications for the engineering team
Product Development:
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products by managing development schedules, resolving roadblocks, and mitigating risks
User Experience Focus:
- Advocate for best-in-class user experience by working closely with design teams on wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user testing
- Collect user feedback regularly to refine product features post-launch
Performance Metrics:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product; monitor performance against these KPIs post-launch
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product improvements
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the product
- Present updates on progress, strategies, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership regularly
Market Trends & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in product management
- Incorporate innovative solutions that differentiate the product in the marketplace
Mentorship & Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members; foster a collaborative team environment

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex technical products
- Demonstrated solid technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule trade-offs, and new opportunities with the engineering team
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Proven in-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends related to the product domain
- Experience in relevant industries such as software development, IT services, cloud computing, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven solid decision-making skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in roadmap planning and managing product backlogs
- Demonstrated commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering customer-centric solutions
- Proven ability to identify problems quickly and devise effective solutions
- Demonstrated innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively across different teams
- Proven solid negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
