The Accounting Operations and Analysis (AOA) Sr. Business Analyst will have a full proficiency and understanding of the PeopleSoft ERP system across various user modules (Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, and Revenue). Support the PS ERP product end users to ensure day-to-day functions and processes are performing effectively and efficiently. Analyst scope of work includes leading migration efforts to move businesses from their current billing tool to ERP.
Responsible for functionality testing and process improvement of related tools and creating procedure documentation related to new functionality or process changes. Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities – by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational systems and process.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead conversations with business partners about the capabilities, functions, and processes of ERP
- Able to identify gaps or risks of a business process and able to create a recommended solution from either an enhancement or process improvement standpoint
- Effectively and confidently communicate with technology & business stakeholders regarding change management and process
- Ability to analyze large sets of data with the purpose of preparing such data for migrations to ERP
- Analyze and balance risk/reward considerations for identified solutions
- Ability to lead a project from inception to deployment (including post deployment support)
- Troubleshoot system or process issues then provide feedback and suggestions in order create efficiencies
- Perform PeopleSoft ERP functional testing
- Provide ongoing support to ensure proper implementation and adoption of a solution (Postdeployment support and monitoring of process plans)
- Create and execute quality testing strategy for system enhancements
- Attend scrum meetings, standups, retrospectives and demos as needed to collaborate with system development partners
- Model business processes (current and future)
- Provide training on new business process

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- PeopleSoft ERP Experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Demonstrated to be skilled at problem solving, follow-through, and resolution
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, time and project management, problem solving, organization, and analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience Developing Requirements
- Migration experience moving a business from one financial tool to another
- Process Improvement with Six Sigma or Lean initiatives

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
