Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the full SDLC, including analysis, design, development, code reviews, testing and deployment
- Create and implement robust software applications with high performance and reliabilityDesign and develop reusable components, patterns, and frameworks, encouraging innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve performance in software systems and making those changes in safe and effective ways
- Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/module/simple requirements
- Take initiative to learn the fundamentals of different programming languages and frameworks that would be most suitable for team deliverables
- Partner with product management and engineering leadership to bring creative technology and solutions to help solve healthcare problems
- Address software issues promptly, providing support for debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems
- Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team
- Design, Write and Test high-quality, fault-tolerant API code
- Build high-scale systems, libraries, and frameworks to support various business domains
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed software solutions, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with containerization technology, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud services; either AWS or Azure
- Experience with Angular or React for frontend development
- Experience with Java, Spring Framework and Hibernate
- Experience with DevOps toolsets such as Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub Actions
- Experience using OpenAPI/Swagger to define and implement application interfaces
- Experience using RESTful APIs and asynchronous JS
- Experience with both relational databases and NoSQL databases
- Familiar with authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
- Excellent communication skills, to both technical and non-technical colleagues
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience working within the healthcare industry
