Physician – Pulmonology Critical Care – Per Diem| Unity Health Network, Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of pulmonary/ critical care related health problems
- Compliance with all coding and documentation requirements
- Practice evidence-based medicine
- Provides ICU Coverage and inpatient pulmonary consults at Level 3 Trauma Community Hospital (1 Location)
- Provides Pulmonary outpatient call coverage
- Practices in accordance with the respective state laws and regulations governing the practice of advanced practice nursing
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with members and their legal representatives, facility staff, PCPs, and other collaborating physicians/providers
- Completes follow-up and post-hospital assessments according to documented standard operating procedure
- Provides counsel, support, and education to facility staff
- Implements HEDIS measure campaigns and other quality initiatives as directed by Corporate Health Services to ensure the highest standards of care and to promote the improvement of care management and delivery
- Keeps current on relevant medical and nursing research, technology, and related issues by attending continuing education courses, professional meetings, and journal reviews
- Perform related duties as necessary and other duties as assigned
Position Highlights
- Our physicians provide comprehensive pulmonary critical care medicine including inpatient critical care, inpatient consultation, outpatient clinic, post-acute care, bronchoscopy procedures, navigational bronchoscopy capability and EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound). Candidates trained in Sleep Medicine may also incorporate sleep into their practice.

Required Qualifications:
- Unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Ohio, or able to obtain
- Active and unrestricted DEA License, or ability to obtain
- Board certified M.D. or D.O. Pulmonary Medicine
- Board certified M.D or D.O or eligible Critical Care
- Willing or ability to On Call Participation
- Proven ability to maintenance of privileges with no restrictions at hospital where procedures will be performed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Sleep Medicine
- Proven participation in Critical Care Rounding
- Proven interest in Teaching
The hourly range for this role is $108.65 to $175.96 per hour. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
