JOB TITLE:    Senior Data Analyst

DUTIES:    Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Duties include: Responsible for the management and manipulation of mostly structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognizing trends, performing normalization operations and assuring data quality; creating specifications to bring data into a common structure, creating product specifications and models, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, and developing actionable insights and presenting recommendations for use across the company; partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization; responsible for producing and managing the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients when requested; and use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data.

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an Analyst-related occupation. 

Position requires 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the following:

•    Power BI with analysis, programming, and reporting using data storage structures; 
•    Programming languages such as Python, R or SQL;
•    Interpretation of large sets of structured and unstructured data and find/fix consistency errors; 
•    Database concepts, SQL skills for data manipulation and querying;
•    Developing automated reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present complex data in a clear and meaningful manner; 
•    Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib and Seaborn);
•    Data analysis, including data manipulation and statistical analysis;
•    Statistical techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling; and
•    Excel and MS Proficiency.

RATE OF PAY:  $103,410 /  per year
