Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage lifecycle of automation scripts and provide process improvement to optimize need for build
• Discern feasibility by interpreting complex projects into identifiable and discrete steps
• Proactively provide direction on operational efficiencies to stakeholders in lieu of automation steps and to optimize automation workflow. Including report creation/automation through the use of SQL, power query and similar tools
• Integrate automation builds into current script inventory
• Knowledge of source systems impacted
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to elicit and refine processes to document and write detailed requirements for automation enhancements
• Coordinate multiple (currently 22) virtual machines run-time, troubleshooting with development
• Create feedback loops to stakeholders from routine audit and break/fix exercises
• Guide Information Systems in access and data management needs
• Expectations to continue in developing knowledge of other robust automation tools within Optum to further enhance workflows at MPPs

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business/finance analysis
• Proven working knowledge of relational databases, database structure
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours to support scripts

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL or other scripting work experience
• Reporting experience
• Experience with computer programming and script writing

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
