As a Principal .NET Software Engineer, you will be a technical leader, architecting and delivering high-impact solutions on our .NET platform. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define strategy, mentor fellow engineers, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect & Design: Lead the end-to-end design of complex .NET applications, microservices, and integrations
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the go-to expert for .NET best practices, promoting clean code, test automation, and DevOps
  • Mentorship: Coach and mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Code Quality & Reviews: Define coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and drive refactoring initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Performance & Reliability: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks; implement monitoring, logging, and disaster-recovery strategies
  • Innovation: Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve developer productivity and user experience
  • Roadmap & Strategy: Contribute to technology roadmaps, capacity planning, and long-term vision for the .NET platform
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of professional experience building enterprise-grade .NET applications
  • Deep expertise with C#, ASP.NET Core (or .NET 5+), Entity Framework, and RESTful API design
  • Proven track record designing and operating microservices on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code
  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions under ambiguity
  • Outstanding communication skills; able to present complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with message-based architectures (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare) with strict compliance requirements
  • Background in domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture, or CQRS
