Our Business Systems Analyst is responsible for coordinating and facilitating engagement between business and technical departments. Will be managing dependencies across a highly matrixed organization, contributing to refining and maintaining a healthy delivery backlog and working alongside Data Science, Data Engineering and our Business stakeholders.

Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours of Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage activities for specific data science initiatives, from definition and planning through production, release, and end-of-life
  • Contribute to the full product lifecycle with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end-of-life of new, existing, or acquired products
  • Create, manage and monitor project plans to deliver on roadmaps
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders, including design, engineering, scrum teams, and business leaders
  • Engage enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment
  • Define solutions with high-value requirements, compelling business cases, clear technical positioning, priority, and strategic impact
  • Understand the “what & why” of user stories and features, their relationship to objectives and key results (OKRs), and their impact on the customer
  • Engage with users and deliver incremental value to increase Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams on the creation of requirements and user stories
  • Support integration testing and automation practices
  • Provide situational support to the data science teams
  • Lead cross-functional meetings and interface well with direct leadership
  • Build trust through transparency and possess a growth mindset

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Project or Product Management, Agile, PMI, Prince2
  • Experience gathering and reporting clear business requirements
  • Technical aptitude and fluency in development concepts and modern development practices
  • Working knowledge of tools like Aha, Rally, GitHub, and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience / knowledge with managing data science projects

Soft Skills:

  • Communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Leadership skills and the ability to influence capability outcomes
