Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, reviews, and user group meetings for quality assurance
- Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities
- Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
- Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defect
- Prepare the status report of testing activities
- Mentor and direct other testers in automation and software engineering principles
- Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage
- Constantly evaluate and enhance the test automation strategy and approach
- Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories
- Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
- Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, learn, and innovate
- Research and implement tools that support faster delivery with high quality
- Reviews the work of other testers
- Develops innovative approaches

- Serves as a leader/ mentor to test team

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 3+ years of accomplished experience in software testing
- 2+ years of experience in test scenario/test case design skills and knowledge of quality standards
- 1+ years of experience in UI, smoke, E2E and integration testing
- 1+ years of experience in feature beta testing, Early Adopter, or user acceptance testing
- 1+ years of experience with strong communication and customer collaboration
- 1+ years of experience in SQL skills and experience working with any one RDBMS
- 1+ years of experience working in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins for application deployment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Health care domain experience
- Experience with DevOps
- Experience working with complex XML/JSON, EDI X12, SQL transactions
- Tools Knowledge: Selenium with java, Cucumber (BDD), SOAP UI, Postman, RestAssured
- Datawarehouse/ ETL testing experience
- Good knowledge on Automation framework preparation / usage

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
