OptumRx is looking for a curious and self-motivated individual as part of a hybrid analytics/contracts team tasked with bringing increased understanding and clarity to contract interpretation and the financial analytics that quantify potential impacts. This role will be responsible for interfacing with various stakeholders, understanding current processes and implementing change where applicable, and establishing relationships with internal teams. We are looking for people that can collaborate closely with internal partners, comfortably work with contract language and data, and is adaptable and eager to learn. Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements. This role will include several days a week with team members in the Dublin office, in the Republic of Ireland.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure they receive and understand the terms of our contracts
- Identify non-preferred contract language and when possible endeavor to get that language changed
- Utilize exceptional organizational skills in the management of OptumRx Client contracts including but not limited to ensuring accurate/timely data, generating reports, and tracking monthly performance & adherence metrics
- Demonstrate understanding of complex contract language to assess; financial, non-financial impact and legal implications of requested contract changes
- Rapidly develop new insights and iterate upon those insights to drive business decisions

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Accounting, English, Analytics, Finance, Legal)
- Proven experience in commercial, procurement or legal teams with focus on contracts
- Advanced experience utilizing PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managed health care or pharmacy benefit management
- Proven experience in contract analysis, contract management or review strategy development and contract redlining experience
- Public accounting or other auditing experience
- Power BI skills
