Primary Responsibilities:
- The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting and mentoring junior engineers and Technical Development Program participants
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and ensure the timely delivery of software projects
- Utilize AWS services such as EKS, ECR, and Github to implement scalable and reliable applications
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate the software deployment process
- Containerize applications using Docker for easy deployment and scalability
- Write comprehensive test cases using the Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) approach to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and actively participate in continuous learning and improvement initiatives
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experienced Software Engineer with 4+ years of professional full stack development experience
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Spring Boot, Java and React
- 3+ years of development experience in SpringBoot/Java/Rest API
- 3+ years of development experience in React/Java Script
- Experience in AWS Cloud Services
- Experience on writing Test cases using the Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) approach to ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions
- Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with building real-time data pipelines and streaming applications
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience of working in Agile methodology
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in Docker and containerization concepts
- Good knowledge of Kafka
- Dev Ops Concepts knowledge
- Solid knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, ECR, MSK, Open Search, and Logstash
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and experience with ATDD approach
- Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proven excellent debugging skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
