Associate Software Engineer

• Programming:
• Responsible for programming and developing innovative solutions
• Automation:
• Contribute to the automation of repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and minimize manual intervention
• Assist in managing CI/CD pipelines for deploying infrastructure changes using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Security and Compliance:
• Adhere to security best practices to ensure the infrastructure is secure and compliant with organizational policies and standards
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and data management
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
• Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and collaborative planning sessions to enhance project outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field OR equivalent professional experience
• Proficient in Java, Scala, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Proven experience in developing and delivering production-grade software
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) including writing and implementing automated tests (unit, integration, performance)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in microservices development using frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Familiarity with SQL and database management systems
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development techniques

Soft Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within team environment
