Role Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Executive Assistant to support an Executive in Residence of Optum Health. This role involves a wide range of administrative and executive support duties, requiring flexibility, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Executive Support: Make travel arrangements (e.g., airlines, hotel), manage expense reports
  • Calendar Management: Strategically manage and coordinate complex schedules, meetings, events, and travel arrangements
  • Communication: Exhibit superior customer service skills in all interactions, both internal and external
  • Event Planning: Organize and manage external events, site visits, and business development activities, including organizing resources needed for meetings (e.g., conference rooms, food, technology)

Required Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of Executive Assistant experience in support of senior executives in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience coordinating travel and expenses 
  • Experience coordinating large meetings for senior leadership
  • Advanced proficiency within Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with extreme attention to detail and confidentiality 
  • Proven excellent verbal and written communication and grammatical skills
  • Proven executive presence and high degree of professionalism and comfort working with people at all levels
  • Available and flexible to work weeknights and weekends, as needed (e.g., for time sensitive travel changes)
  • Ability to work in the Optum Corporate Office in Eden Prairie, MN

The hourly range for this role is$23.70 to $46.35 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
