Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary initiative activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver with high quality for our telephony applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, engineering, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coaching and mentor to agile teams in order to drive transformation
- Provide guidance during Ideation, MVP, and Capability grooming, and Feature roadmap grooming
- Identify opportunities for improvement, able to promote culture of continuous improvement
- Mentor agile teams on agile practices (processes, tools, artifacts and ceremonies), assisting the team to self-organize, leading the team towards a path of continuous improvement
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Overall 10+ years of relevant as IT Agile Practitioner Project Manager
- 5+ experience in leading strategic project & program implementations leveraging agile methodology
- Proven experience transforming IT teams into agile delivery
- Experience in successfully managing high profile and complex projects
- Experience managing multiple scrum teams simultaneously
- Experience driving priorities to teams outside the immediate teams preview
- Experience with IT Platforms – WebEx Calling Cloud, MS Teams, and other unified communications technologies.
- Experience managing projects involving technology platforms such as WebEx Calling Cloud, MS Teams, and other unified communications technologies.
- Experience in Agile – Swift Kanban
- Sound knowledge of Project Management tools
- Broad knowledge of system and technology alternatives
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Demonstrated ability to stay committed to long-term project goals
- Demonstrated ability to direct project outcome based on long term business objectives
- Proven excellent Excel and Presentation skills
- Proven formal project management training and demonstrated real life execution
- Proven superior analytical skills
- Proven excellent communication, both written and verbal skills
- Proven excellent active meeting facilitation and negotiation skills
- Proven solid project management skills and solid ability to multi-task and manage resources in a cross-functional environment
- Proven solid quantitative, analytical and management skills
- Proven leverage interpersonal, organizational, team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise while driving the efforts of a technical staff
