This role plays a crucial role in integrating security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) aims to shorten the development lifecycle and provide continuous delivery through automation and secured pipelines on Azure Cloud.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for production solutions on Azure focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
• Security: Drive and Implement security practices and monitoring according to Optum standards
• Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and automate cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployments. Integrate with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency using Python and other scripting tools
• Pipeline Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to enhance pipeline performance
• Monitor system performance and availability using monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana along Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development teams to seamlessly integrate pipeline processes with their workflows, ensuring a smooth development lifecycle
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes and tools to maintain the highest level of quality in delivered solutions
  Technology Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the DevOps field, sharing relevant knowledge and insights with the team to drive innovation and improvement
• Provide mentorship to junior team members on best practices and technologies
• Consult with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and a history of successful collaboration within cross-functional teams
• DevOps Tools: Solid experience with tools like Terraform, Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Packer, and Consul
• CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub utilizing GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Version Control: Experience with Git and branching strategies
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise with Azure. Proven experience implementing Azure Cloud solutions using Terraform within Terraform Enterprise
• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in tools like Terraform and Ansible. Proven experience in authoring Terraform and shared Terraform Modules
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and experience with other scripting languages (e.g., Bash)
• Monitoring & Logging: Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack) and Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
• Consulting Skills: Proven ability to consult with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert advice

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automation experience
• Hands-on scripting with one or more: YAML, JSON, PowerShell, BASH or Python Infrastructure Engineering experience
