Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial forecasts and analysis
  • Refresh and tie-out monthly, quarterly and annual financial data models in Excel
  • This includes but not limited to monthly actuals, forecast models and budget files
  • Manage and refresh monthly variance reports and workforce rosters
  • Contribute to team initiatives and reporting needs as requested
  • Build proforma analysis for new business cases

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of financial and/or accounting experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel as well as other Office applications
  • Solid communication skills with proven ability to relay financial findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing workload
  • Solid analytic skills with large data sets
  • Solid research and analysis skills
  • Solid attention to details
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight financial deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on special projects
  • Must be able to work in Pacific Time Zone

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • PeopleSoft and SmartView/Essbase experience
  • Analyzing and reviewing accounting journal entries experience or knowledge
  • Healthcare Finance experience or knowledge

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
