The Account Service Analyst performs employer benefit plan design coding to assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure building and revisions, and researching and resolving structure issues.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 3:30pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 115 W Wausau Ave, Wausau, WI 54401.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly releases, including testing and supporting requests, for EOB (Explanation of benefits) customization and making basic programming changes
- Reviews incoming mailing requests to determine timelines for front-end, print, quality and inserting
- Communicates and negotiates revised timelines with requester
- Determines appropriate template and completes print set-up
- Performs final review of front-end print set-up for accuracy and adherence to job specifications
- Makes recommendations for workflow process improvements, reduction of rework and related expense
- Analyzes new on-going print requests for automation potential
- Supports creation and implementation of new or revised quality and workflow standards

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of experience navigating through multiple system applications and screens
- Experience working in an office environment
- Experience with data entry (keying information into programs, tables or data bases)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (create, edit, sort/filter, format)
- Ability using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes excellent keyboard and navigation skills and the ability to learn new computer programs
- Ability to work Monday – Friday, during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 3:30pm CST, including the flexibility to work occasional overtime, given the business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related experience in printing and mailing working environment
- Project Management experience
- Experience in basic mail merges (ability to use Microsoft Word to import address files and create files) OR document composition using programming
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated experience producing high quality work while meeting productivity expectations
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to effectively plan, organize, set priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple work assignments
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize caseload based on business needs as well as ability and willingness to accept and work in a new and changing environment
- Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication capabilities
- Proven to be proactive, self- motivated, detailed oriented, and work with minimal supervision or support
The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
