The Digital Analytics Manager is a seasoned professional with a proven track record; a driven self-starter, problem solver, and someone who is passionate about creating remarkable digital experiences driven by digital insights.  This person has hands-on experience using digital analytics tools to perform analysis and identify behavior insights, a solid ability to tell data stories, and a background in designing tracking requirements to answer future business questions.  We’re a team of 40+ in the US with global and consulting partners, which presents a lot of opportunity for collaboration. We partner closely with other groups in the Optum Consumer Experience, Data & Analytics (CXDA) team and lines of business to measure the effectiveness of digital properties used by millions of customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This position requires extensive experience in digital analytics, relationship and consensus-building skills, and proven ability to think strategically in the complex and evolving healthcare environment
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop measurement frameworks that align to organization key performance indicators, ensuring that measurement solutions adhere to organizational priorities when creating tracking requirements for new features
  • Perform in-depth analysis across multiple websites to understand digital behavior and uncover key areas for improvement to drive engagement and success, translating results into clear insights and recommendations
  • Present findings to product owners and senior leadership, including insights into key behaviors and actionable recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis 
  • Actively identify and participate in driving increased data quality and efficiency improvements, standardizations, and business system enhancement, including UAT of existing site tracking when applicable
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of Optum website architecture, KPI’s and customer goals
  • Manage customer expectations appropriately and keep projects on schedule and within scope
  • Manage multiple projects, with multiple remote teams, at a time, providing regular status updates to leadership, and quickly escalate potential issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of digital analytics experience working with large, distributed teams 
  • 4+ years demonstrated experience utilizing the Adobe suite of digital analytics products, or Google Analytics 
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience with digital analytics implementation support, including effectively interpreting business needs into digital analytics solutions and leading analytics quality assurance through the development process to production release
  • Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in digital analytics, relationship and consensus-building skills, and proven ability to think strategically in the complex and evolving healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with stakeholders to develop measurement frameworks that align to organization key performance indicators and tie to business impact/ROI
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the analytics lifecycle, including testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing session replay tools, such as Glassbox, DataDog, Fullstory, or similar
  • Experience supporting product teams with ad hoc and recurring reporting, as well as deep dive analysis to answer key business questions
  • Proven ability to act as a subject matter expert on best-in-class digital analytics (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • Proven effective communication skills with a variety of different stakeholders

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
