Senior Software Engineering Lead – AWS, Terraform, Cloud Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Builds and maintains applications for deployment, monitoring and operations, troubleshoots and resolves issues within AWS environments, including network, security, storage, and compute-related problems
• Drive & lead technical decisions, design discussions, review artifacts and implementation of the platform / services
• Ensure Well-architected principles and engineering best practices are followed to build a secure, high-performing, resilient and scalable services
• Automate routine operational tasks, ensuring efficiency and reliability in day-to-day operations
• Implement security best practices to keep data safe and control who can access resources
• Manage code deployment and release via GitHub actions / Jenkins and help in troubleshooting issues with existing CI/CD pipeline
• Guide the team development efforts towards successful project delivery
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team

Required Qualifications:

• BE/BTech degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in Application development
• 6+ years professional experience in AWS or other cloud architecture
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with cloud Infrastructure and services
• 6+ hands on Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• 4+ years of programming in Python
• Solid experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration within GitHub Actions / Jenkins
• Solid knowledge of cloud security practices and AWS IAM roles/policies
