We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Governance and Reconciliation Manager to join our Optum Rx team. This role is crucial for ensuring the alignment between client contracts and operational systems, driving accountability, and enhancing operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining synchronization across various departments and systems and will act as a product owner for long-term solutions. Their efforts will play a leading role in implementing offshoring strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and cost savings. Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours of Monday – Friday, standard business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Governance and Accountability:
- Take ownership of reconciling client contracts with operational system configurations
- Ensure continuous alignment and synchronization across legal, compliance, IT, operations, and capability departments
- Maintain accountability for the reconciliation process and its ongoing management
- Operational Efficiencies:
- Advise on the implementation of improved systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with various leaders to continue the development and automation of processes that ingest and reconcile multiple sources across the enterprise, to produce SOT for the offshoring
- Work across account management, pricing, and underwriting to capture changing client terms at implementation time and create a feedback mechanism
- Strategic Importance:
- Act as a product owner for long-term solutions on the Rx side, ensuring strategic alignment and governance
- Identify opportunities for offshoring to optimize resources and reduce costs
- Mitigate risks associated with offshoring clients that should not be offshored
- Opportunities and Risk Mitigation:
- Explore and implement offshoring strategies to enhance operational efficiencies and cost savings
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with offshoring clients that should not be offshored
- Develop strategies to manage and minimize potential negative impacts on client relationships and service quality
- Ensure that offshoring decisions are made strategically, considering client-specific requirements and risks

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in governance, reconciliation, and operational efficiency roles
- Understanding of legal, compliance, IT, operations, and capability functions
- Experience in product ownership and strategic planning
- SQL experience, including experience with various database technologies (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, etc.).
- Proficient Python, Spark, or PySpark experience
- Proficiency with Excel and visualization tools
- Experience in data ETL and blending tools
- Power Platform experience (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate)
Soft Skills:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely in writing and orally to individuals and groups
- Presentation skills and stakeholder management
